Bassano Trio

Bassano Trio is a Dutch recorder ensemble, founded as a quartet with Adriana Breukink in 2004. It is dedicated to developing and arranging new repertoire for recorder and pushing the dynamic boundaries of the instrument, playing on the contemporary Eagle- and Dream recorders from the workshop of Adriana Breukink. After the death of Adriana in October 2022, there has been a period of grief and reflection. The ensemble now continues as a trio and in quartet/quintet formations, in collaboration with various instrumentalists. Members are Wolf Meyer, Ronald Moelker and Saskia Teunisse.
